The Air Quality PM2.5 Monitor and Sensor takes samples of the air surrounding it and measures the PM2.5 levels in the air through a filter. The device then reports the numeric rating of the air quality sample as well as a green, yellow, or red bar indicating the safety level of that rating.
Generally, a rating under 70 is a safe amount. The lower the number, the healthier the air quality is. A green, yellow, or red bar also appears next to the rating as a health indicator for guidance.
PM2.5 refers to particles in the air that are less than 2.5 micrometers and often stay in the air for longer than larger particles. These particles should be monitored in daily environments to prevent lung irritation and possible sickness.
The PM2.5 Filter can be used as frequently as often. The device will automatically turn off after 30 minutes for power saving.
